Juan Carlos Navarro was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico in 1975. As a child, he demonstrated tremendous skill in drawing and painting. He formally trained and worked in Mexico as an Engineer and Architect. It wasn't until 2005 that he began working as a professional Fine Artist and began exhibiting his work in Mexico City. He was subsequently selected to participate in the Exconvento Del Carmen Museum in Mexico. His art has since been exhibited in Latin America, Europe and in the US, in both group shows and solo exhibitions.

In his “Natural” series, Juan Carlos Navarro aims to portray the complexity of being and the force of the act of living in each branch, leaf and figure he paints. Each painting is a powerful metaphor in which figurative, spiritual, ecological and mystical currents are intertwined. His hope is that each character emanates an inner light and are at peace with themselves.
